Something Amazing!

Do you know what I'm talking about?

The picture I post with these was a chalk art my now 7 year old drew during COVID, so he was maybe 4 or 5 years old at the time.  He drew it and then said WAIT!  Ran in and got his Spiderman.  He placed the action figure, and it was complete.  His stream by the rainbow with Spiderman was a master piece.  And he took the picture, which is why his toes are in it.  He is always barefoot.

Yes, the picture is Amazing to his Dad, but it's not what I wanted to talk about today.  Not exactly but sort of along the same lines...

What else is amazing?  Our ability to be creative in everything we do, not just art.

When it comes to solving problems, overcoming challenges, visualizing a new creation, we have this amazing creative mind to help us.

What does this have to do with getting healthier?

Well, we live in an unhealthy environment when it comes to our food and activities.  We have too many calories easily accessible and too many chairs and remotes to make it too easy to sit still and eat.

So, in order to break free of it and use the advances of our society to our advantage we have to be creative.  We have to find ways around it.

Your ability to move and breath and do stuff is also amazing.

When we put our amazing creativity together with our amazing abilities to do stuff, then the next step is to put it into action.

My all time favorite is to hear when people have done this.  Over the years I have heard so many ways people have cut junk foods out by replacing with something a little healthier, lost 10 pounds by parking further out and taking the stairs.  Little things.  Amazing little things that can have an amazingly huge impact.

Once the amazing begins, then it is hard to stop too.

So my tip is to merely discover your amazing and put it into action!

Blessings,

Dr Asa
