Do something good for your knees

I’m sure many of you have done standing high knees. Possibly when you were in school during gym class or as a warm up before your workouts. There are a lot of benefits to this exercise such as warming up the muscles in the lower body and building abdominal strength. It’ll work your glutes, calves, hamstrings, and hip flexors. And another great thing about this exercise is you can do it at a higher intensity to get a good sweat going or, you can take it slow and really focus on driving the knees up and minimizing the impact. You can even incorporate high knees into other exercises like mountain climbers, plank jacks, or squat jumps. There’s a lot of variety with this exercise and, you don’t need any equipment to do it.
